Blessed

Tonight we had our marriage blessed in our church.

It was extremely meaningful to me because so many of our dear friends made a point to come. Our friend Gina drove down from a suburb of Chicago. Some of my friends haven't set foot in a church in ages. As my friend said "I don't go to church for just anyone."

I am so very blessed to have all these amazing people in our lives. They mean so much to me. I haven't had friends like this in years - maybe ever.

(1 Corinthians 13:4-7)Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
